16 Fast-Paced Workout Songs to Add to Your Playlist

February 3, 2015

I’m officially on the weight loss train. I know, like everyone, I’m starting in the NEW YEAR. But I’ve spent the last six months gaining all my pre-2011 weight loss back (and then some). I’m totally bummed about it. And now i’m motivated to remove it. I hate shopping in larger sections and I refuse to go back to feeling bad about the way I look again. It’s on!

If I am going to do a high intensity workout, I need fast and motivating tunes. These are some of my favorite right now.

4 Bodyweight Workouts You Can Do at Home

January 14, 2015

BODYWEIGHT-WORKOUTS-AT-HOME

Often days, I get home from work and lack the motivation to go to the gym. Especially in winter. All I can think of on the drive home is getting into my comfy clothes and watching an episode of Doctor Who or Parenthood. But we still have to get our exercise in! So if you are at home, here are four of my favorite bodyweight (no equipment needed) workouts!

Note: If you don’t know how to perform the exercises, check YouTube as most exercises have video demonstrations available.

Why You Should Create a Summer Bucket List

June 2, 2014

Last fall, I created a “bucket list” or things I want to do during that particular season. I did this because there were so many activities that I love to do during fall. But the same goes with summer. And because MINNE-SNOW-TANS cherish summer so much, I intend to do the same thing with this precious season.

3 Reasons To Create a Summer Bucket List

  • It’s easy and keeps you on track with things you want to do.
  • Posting it on social media will keep you accountable for actually doing it rather than sitting inside on the beautiful summer days.
  • It’s just plain fun.

Instead of sitting inside like a lump on a log (stolen from my parents), I intend on doing a lot of outdoor activities…so the weather better be good. Here is mine:

Amanda’s Sexy Arm Workout

January 9, 2014

Sometimes I love working out, other times I just hate it. Today was a day that I loved it. I thought I would share my workout with you because it was one I enjoyed. I created it myself and because I am not a fitness professional I must disclaim that I am not a fitness professional so make sure you’re able to do this workout before attempting. There, that is over with.

Update: My mom reminded me that not everyone knows what these exercises are. Here are the links to learn how to do each exercise.

Tell me: How did the workout go for you?
