Operation Vintage Validation has begun! My first visit to a Minneapolis vintage shop was Rewind Vintage. My reaction? It’s fantastic.
Size: The store is respectably small. But still, they have plenty of merchandise to get your interest.
Type of Merchandise: Men, Women, Accessories, Jewelry, Shoes. Variety of sizes. And when you add in that they categorize by color, you have a full on win!
Pricing: After looking around for about 15 minutes, I found a few skirts, a handful of dresses all under $20 each. And a amazing vintage wool coat for $30! I only wish it had been in my size!
Quality: Second hand stores can get a bad rep for having low quality clothing. But Rewind Vintage seems to have a hold on that. We might as well have taken a time machine back to the ’60s because they had many pieces that looked like they were never worn!
Employees: There was only one woman working when I went in. She was helpful but not overbearing. I was pleased when she showed me a set of rings and let me look over them.
Overall: Small but unique shop that has quality and budget friendly pieces for both men and women. This vintage find is validated!
My final grade- A!
