I must admit that today was a milestone. Something I thought I would never accomplish. But it also wasn’t something that I dreamt about accomplishing. But the challenge presented itself and I gave it a go. I ran 1.5 miles straight then ran/walk another 1.5 miles. I wasn’t fast. But I didn’t stop! It shows that if you really try something you can do it.
Anyways, I am nervous because I have to run 3 miles straight for the 5K in Washington DC for the #afcon11. And well that freaks me out. I have never done that. I am excited and nervous at the same time. But I know that I can push myself, if I could get this far…what can’t I do.
Weight loss isn’t easy. It wasn’t that hard either. But I am blessed with a good metabolism and muscle memory. I can’t imagine dealing with other various struggles on top of the already challenging issue. But the one thing I have promised myself is not to give up. This is a life long health journey that I have entered.
Here are my stats– follow me on daily mile for more awesome updates on my running progress!
What are you waiting for! Make no more excuses. Start today.
